Are game sizes accurate?
Sizes are approximate and based on official requirements from Steam, Epic Games Store,
and other platforms.
However, remember that games constantly grow due to updates and DLCs. We recommend
always keeping at least 15-20% of your disk free for optimal SSD performance.
Why does the calculator add 250 GB for the system?
Windows itself takes up "only" about 40-60 GB after installation. However, you must
account for updates, hibernation files,
virtual memory (pagefile), graphics drivers, and basic programs (browser, Discord,
Steam, Spotify).
A 250 GB buffer is a safe minimum in 2026 for trouble-free operation without constant
cleaning.
Will my game list be saved?
Currently, the list is not saved permanently (it disappears when you close the browser).
You can use the Export button to save the result. We are working on
user accounts.
Can I suggest a game that is missing?
Sure! At the bottom of the page, you'll find a Suggest Adding a Game
button.

Does the calculation apply to consoles (PS5, Xbox)?
Yes, game file sizes on PC and modern consoles are very similar.
You can use the calculator as a reliable estimate for planning your console storage
upgrade.
